Founded in 2000, Riad Sahara Nour is the first Center for Artistic Creation to have been created in Marrakech. It opened its doors in 2003 and has hosted up to now more than 150 workshops : singing, dancing, writing, skechbooking, calligraphy, personal development, work on the body…
In this place, many cultural events have also been organized : "Riad en jazz", "International Meetings of Poetry", debates of ideas, "Cafés of Psychoanalysis", meetings of writers, poets, readings aloud, Poetry contest for young Moroccans aged 16 to 22…
Lovers of Morocco, passionate about travel, arts and literature, Lucile and François will be happy to welcome you during this course at Riad Sahara Nour and share their passion with you.
Lucile Bernard is a writer, author of numerous works (novels and short stories) all published in the “Amarante” collection by Harmattan editions. She left France in 2000, came to settle in Marrakech where she founded the “Center for Artistic Creation Riad Sahara Nour”, a place of sharing and dialogue between cultures.
In 2003, after having been working all around the world, her husband François joined her. He started, in complementarity, the activity "Riad Sahara Nour, guest house".
Since then, together, they continue the adventure.
